Volunteers wanted for Swallow charity event

A CHARITY event is set to bring around 200 visitors to a Caistor area village next month.

The Swallow half marathon will take place on Sunday November 18, based at the village hall, where the hall committee will be providing refreshments before and after the race.

Part of the race proceeds will go towards the upkeep of the village hall, as well as to the When You Wish Upon a Star charity.

Organisers are now looking for volunteers to help with the event, from car parking and marshalling to handing out water.
