Charity minded staff at the Brigg Tesco store have taken part in the Lyke Wake Walk, for Tesco’s Charity of the Year, Diabetes UK. The trio were tasked to complete the 44-mile walk, which retraces the ancient coffin route across the North Yorkshire Moors, from Osmotherley to Ravenscar, within a 24 hour period, a challenge which meant starting at sunrise - 3am.

And successful male walkers are called ‘Dirgers’, while ladies are given the title of ‘Witch’.
