Stephen looking to become a superhero

A Howsham teenager is gearing up for a charity skydive.

After reading an article in the Rasen Mail about the Superhero Sydive for St Andrew’s Children’s Hospice, Stephen Clark put his name down straight away.

Now the 17-year-old has to raise at least £400 in sponsorship, so has organised two events to kickstart his fundraising efforts.

Today, Wednesday February 20, he will be helping to run a kids club session in Howsham Village Hall from 10am to noon.

Go along and bake your name in biscuits, decorate some more biscuits and enjoy some extra surprise activities too.

The cost is £1 per child and those aged seven and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

In the evening of the same day, there will be a bingo session in the village hall; doors open at 6.30pm, with eyes down at 7pm.

Cakes and refreshments will be sold too and all money raised will be added to Stephen’s fundraising total.
