Sleaford man airlifted to hospital after A158 collision near Wragby

A 22-year-old motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital following a collision on the A158 near Rand Farm Park this afternoon, Sunday March 16.

The incident, involving a red Renault Megane and a blue Yamaha 600cc motorcycle took place at around 2.20pm.

The rider of the motorcycle, a man from the Sleaford area was airlifted to Hull Royal Infirmary by air ambulance. His injuries included a dislocated knee and chest injuries, which are not now believed to be life threatening.

The Magane driver, a 46-year-old woman from Hornchurch, Essex, was not injured.

The collision and the subsequent closure of the road caused long traffic jams on the A158. The road was reopened at 5.50pm.
