A man is in hospital with head and leg injuries after being repeatedly hit with a weapon during a gang attack in a Market Rasen street.
The 42-year-old Market Rasen man was attacked with what is thought to be a metal bar in Union Street between 7.30am and 7.40am on Saturday.
Police have arrested a 19-year-old local woman and five local males, aged 27, 22, 38, 16, and 25, on suspicion of GBH.
Special crime scene investigators cordoned off both Union Street and Chapel Street for most of the day.
Windows were smashed in both streets and a trail of blood could be seen along Union Street.
