Royal British Legion County service at Rasen church

The Lincolnshire County Royal British Legion will be holding their Annual Rededication Service at St Thomas's Church in Market Rasen this Sunday, May 8.

“This is a high profile event in the county calendar and the Tealby and Market Rasen Branch is honoured to be given the chance to host this service,” said Les Tranter, secretary of the Tealby and Market Rasen Branch.

The event will start with a parade of Standards and organisations marching off from the Festival Hall at 2.15pm, led by the town band, to the market place.

The parade will be 
inspected by the Lord Lieutenant of Lincolnshire, Toby Dennis, before taking their places in church for the service, which starts at 3pm.

All members of the public are invited to attend, 
especially serving or former members of the Armed Forces.

“The Royal British 
Legion looks forward to welcoming everyone to this special service,” added Mr Tranter.
