Caistor Yarborough Academy has gained record results in its 75th anniversary year.
Students achieved a 100 percent pass rate of five or more GCSE at A*-G, including English, Maths and Science, with 90 per cent achieving 5+ A*-C and 58 percent achieving 5+ A*-C including English and Maths.
Science results were outstanding as 95 percent of students gained an A*-C grade,
“We are delighted with these results,” said Headteacher, Jeremy Newnham.
“The ‘Gold Standard’ measure of 5+ A*-C including English and Maths has increased by 9 percent from last year - this is down to the hard work of our students and staff.
“It is fabulous to be celebrating the best results in the school’s history, the year in which we celebrate our 75th birthday.
“I am very proud of the fact that all students leave this school well equipped for the challenges to follow and we wish them all good luck in the future – we know that they will continue to be successful.”
