To celebrate the start of spring, Market Rasen’s Mole Country Stores in Market Rasen hosted a special Live Simply for Less event.
And as well as special offers for customers, there was also the opportunity to get information and advice from the Rare Breeds Survival Trust.
On hand was the group’s Lincolnshire chairman, Neville Turner.
And he took along a selection of handmade goods, among them teddy bears made from wool hand spun from their own sheep.
All the proceeds from the sale of these bears will go to the Rare Breeds Society, which works to conserve and protect the UKs rare native breeds of farm animals from extinction.
Sheila Johnson, Store Manager at Mole Country Stores, said: “This was a very successful feel good event, where customers came and enjoyed fantastic offers on seasonal ranges, free refreshments and special demonstrations helping them live simply for less.”
The next special event at the stores, in Gallamore Lane, will be a Pet Day.
This will take place on Saturday, May 31 and will also be supporting the Lincolnshire Trust for Cats, which is based in Osgodby.Founded in 1999, the Trust offers a rescue facility for homeless cats.
