Raise money for injured firefighters

Firefighters will be washing people’s cars in return for a donation to the Fire Fighters Charity.

Residents are being encouraged to go along to one of the events taking place in our area on Saturday, March 23.

Go to Binbrook Fire Station on between 10am and 3pm or Wragby Fire Station from 10am onwards.

Firefighters across the UK will be cleaning vehicles for whatever money people can spare as part of the National Car Wash 2013.

The charity provides support and therapy to injured firefighters and their families and this is its biggest fundraiser of the year.

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue raised £4,200 last year.
