Plans for improvements to Wragby & District Swimming Pool are underway and now is the time to have your say.
The pool committee has put together a short questionnaire for pool users and other members of the community to give their views on what they would like to see.
“We are looking at improvements that will really make a difference,” said committee secretary Anita Stork.
“We are starting the process of applying for funding, but before we commit to any bids, we want people to have their say.
“We want the improvements to benefit the whole community.”
Improvements could be physical - new changing rooms, a café area etc - or to do with the running of the pool - times and types of sessions for example.
“We have already had comments about the lack of family friendly sessions, where all ages can enjoy the pool together,” added Mrs Storr.
As well as opinions on the improvements people would like to see to the pool, the questionnaire is also looking to gauge people’s current impression of the pool facility and if people don’t make use of the pool the reason behind it.
“The pool is a wonderful facility for Wragby and the surrounding area and we want to make sure that we get these improvements right while we have the chance,” said Mrs Storr.
Questionnaires can be picked up from the pool or printed from the pool website, which can be found at community.lincolnshire.gov.uk/wragbydistrictswimmingpool
Completed questionnaires need to be returned by the end of June and those completing the survey will receive a free Sunday swim.
