A public meeting will take place on Wednesday February 26, at South Kelsey Village Hall to discuss plans for a 102-metre wind turbine close to the village.
After residents received a consultation letter, a planning application for the wind turbine, which would be located off Gipsy Lane on the B1205 between Moortown and South Kelsey, has now been submitted to West Lindsey District Council.
Protesters say this puts the turbine within two kilometres of both village boundaries and Holton-le-Moor.
The application has been made by EDP, the same company that has applied for an identical wind turbine to be built on land west of Moor Lane in Caistor, as reported in the Rasen Mail last week.
Councillors at Caistor Town Council said at their February meeting that they feared that if one application was successful it would pave the way for a number of other applications to be made.
The meeting at South Kelsey Village Hall begins at 7pm.
