Fancy cars, a tractor and even a golf caddy were used to get De Aston year 11 students to Kenwick Park in Louth for their celebratory ball.

“Everyone has pulled out all the stops - they all look stunning,” said Kerry Rivett, head of year 11.

After drinks on the lawn, the 112 students and 24 staff sat down to a two-course hot fork buffet, before enjoying a disco until midnight.

And a number of former De Aston staff members had returned to help the teenagers celebrate the end of exams and, for some, the end of their time at the school.
