Market Rasen Town Council held its annual meeting last week and named Councillor John Matthews as the new Mayor.
Coun Matthews takes over the role from Coun Steve Bunney, who has been Mayor for the past two years.
Coun Martin Harvey will continue in his role as deputy mayor.
At the meeting Coun Bunney announced that a new town clock has now been purchased for £1,100 and will soon be sited in the Market Place on the HSBC building.
The purchase has been made possible thanks to a grant by West Lindsey District Councillor and town councillor Ken Bridger.
Coun Matthews also reported that drainage work to improve De Aston Field was complete and tree planting had begun.
At Caistor Town Council, Coun Steve Millson was re-elected Mayor and Coun Carol Mackenzie as Deputy Mayor for a further year.
