A motorcyclist was airlifted to Hull Royal Infirmary with multiple fractures following a collision on the A631, Willingham Road in Market Rasen on Wednesday, August 13.

The collision involving a purple Kawasaki 600cc motorcycle and a white VW panel van took place at 5.30pm close to the Duckworth Land Rover car dealership.

The 29-year-old Grimsby man was taken to hospital but his condition is not believed to be life threatening.

The van driver a 50-year-old Market Rasen resident didn’t require hospital treatment.

The road was closed between De Aston School and Market Rasen Racecourse.

The investigating officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward and are particularly keen to trace anyone who was on a ‘Call Connect’ bus that travelled through the scene moments before the accident.
