The Lincolnshire Rural Support Network (LRSN), Lincolnshire Federation of Young Farmers Clubs (LFYFC) and the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (R.A.B.I.) are working together to host a “Lincolnshire Rural Charities Race Day” on Sunday April 14 at Market Rasen Race Course to raise awareness and funds to support their work.
The three charities are aware of the current need for emotional and economic support for the farmers, farming families and farming businesses in these uncertain economic times in Lincolnshire, which has, with its rich agricultural heritage, a high percentage of farming and rural families.
By working together they hope to increase the awareness of their charities to those involved in agriculture so they have a better understanding of the services they provide.
In addition they aim to raise vital funds to help sustain their work within the farming communities and rural businesses in Lincolnshire.
Various sponsorship packages are available for companies, businesses, groups and organisations to take advantage of, as well as hospitality in the Brocklesby Suite for avid race goers.
The race day, which is open to everyone and welcomes families too, is set to be a huge success whilst raising vital funding for three worthy causes.
Race course manager Pip Kirkby said: “We are delighted to be able to welcome three rural charities , LRSN, R.A.B.I. and LYFC to the race course and provide them with the opportunity to promote themselves and raise money.
“We wish them every success and hope that they receive the support they deserve.”
