Lyle Robinson, 38, of King Street, Market Rasen, has been sentenced after he admitted four charges under the Theft Act, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court heard on June 9.

The court was told how Robinson dishonestly made off without paying for £30.04 of petrol.

This happened in Waddington, Lincoln on March 14.

He admitted stealing £30 of meat from Tesco in Lincoln on March 23.

And Robinson pleaded guilty to dishonestly making off without paying for £25.01 of petrol in Stamford on February 12.

The court heard how he also admitted dishonestly making off without paying for £6.05 of petrol in Bracebridge Heath, Lincoln on March 27.

Robinson has been fined £90 and ordered to pay a total of £91.10 in compensation.

He must also pay £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £20 victim surcharge, the court was told.

Edward Denniss

Edward Denniss, 37, of Stainton Avenue, Waddingham, has been sentenced for drink driving, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court heard on June 9.

The court was told how Denniss pleaded guilty to driving a Vauxhall Insignia vehicle when he was more than one-and-a-half times over the legal limit.

A test showed Denniss had 55 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the court was told.

The incident happened in Mercer Row, Louth on April 17.

Denniss has been banned from driving for 14 months and fined £360.

He has been ordered to pay £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £36 victim surcharge.

Josh Yorkshire

Josh Yorkshire, 18, of Ryland Bridge, Welton, has been sentenced for three motoring offences, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court heard on June 9.

The court was told how Yorkshire pleaded guilty to driving a Vauxhall Corsa in Dunholme Road, Scothern, when he was over the legal alcohol limit.

A test showed Yorkshire had 44 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

The incident happened on March 30, the court was told.

Yorkshire has been banned from driving for 13 months and fined £120, the court heard.

He has been ordered to pay £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £24 victim surcharge.

The court heard how Yorkshire admitted driving the Vauxhall Corsa without a valid licence.

He has been given no separate penalty for this offence.

And Yorkshire also admitted driving the Vauxhall Corsa in Dunholme Road, Scothern, without any insurance in place.

For this offence, Yorkshire has been fined £120, the court heard.

Sophie Mettam

Sophie Mettam, 24, of Snelland Road, Wickenby, has had two charges against her dismissed, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court heard on June 10.

The court was told how Miss Mettam had been charged with two counts of assaulting a man by beating him in Market Rasen on September 3.

Miss Mettam had pleaded not guilty to both charges.

And both charges have now been dismissed by the court because no evidence was offered.

Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan, 22, of Snelland Road, Wickenby, has had a charge against him dismissed, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court heard on June 10.

The court was told how Mr Bryan had been charged with one count of assaulting a man by beating him in Market Rasen on September 3.

He had pleaded not guilty to this charge, which has now been dismissed by the court because no evidence was offered.

Robert Leahy-Turner

Robert Leahy-Turner, has been sentenced for a drug possession charge, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court heard on June 4.

The court was told how Leahy-Turner admitted having a quantity of class B drug cannabis in his possession in Market Rasen on April 1.

He has been fined £150 and ordered to pay £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £20 victim surcharge.

The court was told how Leahy-Turner also pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on June 2, having been released on bail.

Leahy-Turner was given no separate penalty for this charge.

Jason Baker, 25, c/o Park View, Legsby, has pleaded guilty to stealing joints of ham to the value to £200 from J.H Starbuck in Market Rasen after entering the building as a trespasser on May 3, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court heard on June 13.

He has been ordered to pay £200 compensation.

Josina Clark

Josina Clark, 27, of Mallard Drive, Caistor, has been banned from driving for 18 months and fined £120 after she pleaded guilty to one count of failing to provide two specimens of breath as part of a police investigation into whether she had committed a Road Traffic offence, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court heard on June 13.

The incident happened in Lincoln on May 7.

Clark has been ordered to pay £40 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £30 victim surcharge.
