Lifesaving charities benefit from Nativity Mime

More than 60 members of cast and crew from Market Rasen’s four yearly Nativity Mime, together with friends and family, gathered at the Methodist Chapel School Room on Sunday to celebrate the show’s success.

And £500, raised from offerings at the end of the Mime and from the sale of Special Edition chocolate made specially for the event, was split evenly and presented to two charities, LIVES and CAP, (Christians Against Poverty).

Mime director David Young said: “The cast and crew would like to thank the people of Market Rasen for their generosity in giving at the end of the Mime. We are delighted to be able to help fund the work of two very special organisations,”
