Nominations are once again invited for the Joseph J Magrath Community Service Award in Brigg.

These can be submitted by both voluntary organisations and individuals.

The Silver Rose Bowl, which is held for one year, will be awarded to the person who, in the opinion of Brigg Town Council, has contributed most to the well-being of the town during 2013 - perhaps with valuable service within a local organisation, service to the old and infirm, service to youth, service to the cultural life of the community, service within sport and leisure organisations, courageous actions or actions which have increased the standing of the town.

The Rose Bowl will be presented to the winner at the Annual Civic Charity Banquet to be held at the Angel Suite, Brigg,in March.

Nomination forms are available from the Town Clerk’s Office in the Angel Suite.

The closing date for nominations is this Monday, January 13.
