Humber Bridge campaign group takes its toll

NEW campaigb group HAAT, will be holding its first demonstration tomorrow, Saturday September 1 to protest against the Humber Bridge tolls.

From 10am on the south side of the bridge, at Barton on Humber, action will include unfurling of their new campaign banners and a balloon release.

Keith Peat, Lincolnshire Coordinator of the Association of British Drivers and Lincolnshire Drivers' Charter Member, is promoting the action.

He said: "The tolls affect all of us either directly or indirectly. If you feel like swelling the numbers please do join Jenny Walton and her little band. They would love some support and encouragement.
