Grants made to help local projects

COMMUNITY groups are benefitting from the latest wave of district councillor grants.

Coun Brian Burnett has given £1,000 to Utterby Parish Rooms to contribute towards a new heating system for the village hall.

Coun Peter Phillipson has given £150 to the Wragby Plant Minders. This money will be used for the purchase of plants, compost and two water butts with an aim to improve Wragby market area.

And Ludford’s councillor Daniel Simpson has granted £518 to Donington-on-Bain Parish Council. This money will be used to help purchase litter bins.
