GLENTWORTH Village Hall has received a grant of £4,189 in the latest round of lottery funding.

The hall committee is just one of 53 community groups across the East Midlands to benefit from a total fund of more than £435,000 from the Awards for All scheme.

The money will be used to replace the hall’s aging boiler and improve the hot water system.
