Market Rasen Air Cadets raise bumper amount for charity

Air cadets in Market Rasen are celebrating after raising £5,000 with their grand prize draw.

One purpose of the draw was to supplement squadron funds - and cadets, keen to benefit others, chose to donate half the proceeds to the charity Help for Heroes.

All cadets were praised for their hard work and the prize for the cadet selling the most tickets went to William Sherriff. He won a one hour flying lesson, donated by Wickenby Airfield.

Thanks were given to the local businesses that donated prizes and helped to sell tickets.
