Google street cam van in town
Tuesday 3pm You'll soon be able to look at your street without even opening your front door - assuming you have a computer of course! The Google camera van, which is taking pictures of every street in the country to load onto Street View on the Google map website, has been spotted in the town by Mail reader Adrian Degnon, who kindly sent us this picture.
Laura Scott, Google spokeswoman, said 25 UK cities were already live in Street View.
"We are currently driving to take more images to bring Street View to more places in UK. Lincolnshire may be one of the areas included at a later date," she said.
"Street View has proved popular with people up and down the country since launching in April. People can explore parts of the world they've always wanted to visit, reminisce about places they've visited and get driving directions before they leave the house."
It is likely to be several months before the images of Market Rasen appear on the website.
