Action is being taken to get more police officers on the streets of Market Rasen.
Concerned resident Steve Boryszczuk has arranged a public meeting with Lincolnshire Police to discuss people’s worries.
Steve says there is a lack of a police presence in the town centre - and residents are growing increasingly concerned.
He said: “There’s a lot of concern about a lack of police presence in Market Rasen.
“We pay all these taxes and get nothing.
“There’s far too much crime.
“There’s loads of burglaries, thefts and drug taking.
“I don’t want my granddaughter growing up with this going on.
“I’m determined to keep campaigning until we get more police on the streets.
“I won’t give up.”
Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting.
It will take place at De Aston School library on Thursday, March 20 at 6.30pm.
