Get free help with your career
Careers advisor Alison Sneddon is settling in to Wednesday sessions at Market Rasen Library, with the help of Cultural Services Assistant Mel Fenwick.
A NEW careers service is being offered at Market Rasen Library – and best of all it’s free.
Sessions will be held every Wednesday morning from 10am, offering free career, job and skills advice.
“The aim is to help people get back into the job market or for those in work, to help them progress their career,” said careers advisor Alison Sneddon.
The sessions can offer help and support with CVs, interview skills and access to training.
Funding is available to offset some training costs and there is also a special pot of funding specifically to assist Acis housing tenants.
“We focus very much on the person, so what we offer is particularly tailored to the needs of the individual,” added Alison.
The service is open to anyone aged 18 or over and is run by Riverside Training.
To make an appointment call 01427 677277 or call in to the library on a Wednesday morning.
