Flood alert issued for River Rase and River Ancholme
A flood alert, meaning flooding is possible, has been issued by the Environment Agency for the River Rase and tributaries from Market Rasen to Bishopbridge and the River Ancholme down to Bishopbridge.
The EA said: “Significant rain has fallen overnight and the river levels have started to rise. We expect the river to continue to rise.
“Low lying land and roads are likely to be affected first.”
