Fatal collision

A woman died after her grey Toyota Celica was involved in a collision with a Volvo near Ludford.

The incident happened just after 10am on Monday, August 23, on the A631, Magna Mile, about five miles to the Louth side of the village.

The woman, believed to be from Skegness, died at the scene.

A local man who was driving the black Volvo was taken to hospital with a suspected broken ankle.
