The cheque presentation, above, was made by club chairman Sue Blackshaw at the recent Brocklesby Country Fair, watched by club members and their families.

Volunteer Karen Hagyard went along to collect the money on behalf of the air ambulance charity.

The money was raised by auctioning an original painting by Pete Wilford and four more limited edition prints.

Pete Wilford has a regular column in various Land Rover publications and is well known for his humorous cartoons and paintings.

Money was also raised by the Barrie Murdoch Memorial Trial held earlier this year, and by auctioning another sketch by club member Ellie Stubbins, plus a raffle.

Sue also presented Karen with one of the limited edition prints for the Air Ambulance crew.

“We would like to thank everyone who contributed to this wonderful donation amount for such a worthy and valuable cause,” said Sue.
