LACE up those running trainers and pull on those shorts as the third Annual Brigg & District Branch Royal British Legion 10k race and charity fun run takes place this Sunday, September 2.

The race will start at 11am from the Market Place with a pre-race briefing for all runners at 10.45am.

There will be three categories, the race, the fun run and the Military Challenge.

The Military Challenge involves completing the course wearing boots and carrying a 36lb backpack (not supplied).

Runners may run for any charity they choose, however, all proceeds from the entry fees will be going to the Poppy Appeal. The entry fee is £15.
