Cyclist injured in A15 collision

A CYCLIST suffered a serious head injury following a collision with a car on Friday, August 31.

Emergency services were called to the Bishops Norton turnoff of the A15 near Caenby Corner at 4.10pm after the pedal cyclist colided with a blue Vauxhall Corsa.

The cyclist, a 45 year-old man from Corringham, suffered a head injury and he is currently in a serious but stable condition at Hull Royal Infirmary.

The driver of the Corsa is an 88 year-old man from London who was uninjured.

Police are appealing for any witnesses who have not yet come forward to contact them on 101, quoting the incident number or dial the collision witness hotline on 01522 558855.
