Jack Day, 22, of Mallard Drive, Caistor, has been found not guilty of an assault charge, Grimsby Magistrates’ Court heard on June 23.

The court was told how Mr Day had been accused of assaulting a woman by beating her in Grimsby on April 8.

Mr Day pleaded not guilty to the charge.

And magistrates found Mr Day not guilty following a trial.

The charge has now been dismissed.

Pamela Crisp-Beard

Pamela Crisp-Beard, 64, of Linden Road, Horncastle, has been found guilty of a motoring offence, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court heard on June 14.

The court was told how Crisp-Beard had pleaded not guilty to driving a Citroen vehicle without due care and attention on the A158 at Rand, near Wragby, on June 7, last year.

Crisp-Beard stood trial in front of magistrates, who found her guilty of this charge.

She has been fined £130 and had her driving record endorsed with three penalty points.

Crisp-Beard has been ordered to pay £350 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £20 victim surcharge, the court was told.

Ashley Mappin

Ashley Mappin, 33, of King Street, Market Rasen, has had a warrant issued for his arrest after he failed to turn up for a hearing at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on June 16.

The court was told how Mappin had been due in the dock accused of stealing two cans of beer, to the value of £5.98, from McColls in Market Rasen on March 9.

The case has been adjourned.

Sandra Walker

Sandra Walker, 50, of Alexandria Road, Newtoft, has been sentenced for drink driving, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court heard on June 16.

The court was told how Walker pleaded guilty to driving a Skoda Fabia vehicle when she was more than two times over the legal alcohol limit.

A test showed Walker had 83 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millitres of breath, the court heard.

The incident happened in Clay Lane, Toft Next Newton on April 23.

Walker has been banned from driving for 36 months and fined £120.

She has been ordered to pay £40 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £30 victim surcharge, the court heard.

Michaela Major

Michaela Major, 35, of Coronation Road, Market Rasen, has pleaded not guilty to an assault charge, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court heard on June 16.

The court was told how Miss Major is accused of assaulting a man by beating him in Mill Road, Market Rasen, on November 17, last year.

She denies this charge, the court was told.

Miss Major is due to stand trial at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on August 8.

She has been given unconditional bail until this date.

The case has been adjourned until Miss Major’s trial.

Charlene Marriott

Charlene Marriott, 30,of Cuxwold, Market Rasen, is to stand trial accused of two assaults, Grimsby Magistrates’ Court heard on June 17.

The court was told how Ms Marriott has pleaded not guilty to assaulting a man by beating him in Grimsby on December 10, last year.

She also denies assaulting a woman by beating her in Grimsby on December 10, last year.

Ms Marriott is due to stand trial at Grimsby Magistrates’ Court on August 18, the court heard.

She has been given unconditional bail until this date.

James Bemrose

James Bembrose, 30, of Rawlinson Avenue, Caistor, has been sentenced for drink driving, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court heard on June 20.

The court was told how Bemrose pleaded guilty to driving a Vauxhall Astra vehicle when he was just over the legal alcohol limit.

A test showed Bemrose had 41 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the court heard.

The incident happened in South Street, Caistor, on April 30.

Bemrose has been banned from driving for 12 months and fined £250.

He has been ordered to pay £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £30 victim surcharge.

The court heard how Bemrose also admitted using the vehicle without a valid test certificate.

He was given no separate penalty for this charge, the court was told.

Daniel Moffitt

Daniel Moffitt, 27, of South Street, Keelby, has been sentenced for drink Driving, Grimsby Magistrates’ Court heard on June 22.

The court was told how Moffitt pleaded guilty to driving a Subaru Legacy Outback VRM when he was nearly two-and-a-half times over the legal alcohol limit.

A test showed Moffitt had 86 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the court heard.

The incident happened in Laceby Road, Grimsby on June 11.

Moffitt has been banned from driving for 18 months and fined £350.

He has been ordered to pay £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £35 victim surcharge.
