David Kenyon, 20, of Hurds Farm, Worlaby, has been sentenced after he admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a suspended sentence order, Scunthorpe Magistrates’ Court heard on April 27.

The court was told how Kenyon admitted failing to comply with the order by by failing to attend appointments, as instructed, on April 1 and 8, and failed to provide evidence for the failure within a specified time.

Kenyon must take part in a rehabilitation activity requirement for up to five days, the court heard.

Shane Bollan

Shane Bollan, 30, of Lincoln Road, Brookenby, has been given a conditional discharge after being found guilty of an assault charge, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court heard on April 27.

The court was told how Bollan was found guilty of assaulting a woman by beating her, following a trial in front of magistrates.

He had pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The incident happened in Brookenby on August 25, last year, the court was told.

Bollan has been handed a two-year conditional discharge.

He has also been given a two-year restraining order, the court heard.

The court was told how Bollan must pay £200 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £15 victim surcharge.

Chris Rygnall

Chris Rygnall, 28, of The Furlongs, Market Rasen, has been fined for an offence under the Environmental Protection Act, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court heard on April 27.

The court was told how Rygnall deposited litter, namely cigarette, and left it in Silver Street in Lincoln city centre, on December 3, last year.

The case was proved by magistrates in Rygnall’s absence from court.

He had not entered a plea, the court heard.

Rygnall has been fined £295.

He has been ordered to pay £100 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.

Charlene Marriott

Charlene Marriott, 30, of Cuxwold, Market Rasen, has pleaded not guilty to two charges under the Criminal Justice Act, Grimsby Magistrates’ Court heard on April 27.

The court was told how Ms Marriott has been accused of one count of assaulting a man by beating, and one count of assaulting a woman by beating, in Grimsby on December 10, last year.

Ms Marriott has denied both charges, the court was told.

The case has been adjourned until June 23 when a trial is due to take place.

Ms Marriott has been given unconditional bail until this date, the court was told.

David Fogg

David Fogg, 45, of Ryland Bridge, Welton, has been handed a suspended prison sentence after he pleaded guilty to an offence under the Protection from Harassment Act, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court heard on April 29.

The court was told how Fogg admitted an ‘harassment - put in fear of violence’ offence in that he made 55 phone calls to a woman and threatened to assault her and rape her.

The incident happened in Lincoln on January 6, the court heard.

Fogg has been given a four-month prison sentence, suspended for two years.

And he must take part in a rehabilitation activity requirement for up to 20 days.

Fogg has also been given a restraining order that ‘lasts until further order’, the court heard.

He must pay £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and an £80 victim surcharge.

Tyrone Lee

Tyrone Lee, 51, of no fixed abode, has been given a prison sentence after he pleaded guilty to assaulting a man in Market Rasen, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court heard on April 29.

The court was told how Lee admitted assaulting a man by beating him on February 11.

Lee has been handed a 28-day prison sentence and must pay an £80 victim surcharge.

Liam Blackburn

Liam Blackburn, 18, of Hansard Crescent, Caistor, has had a charge against him dismissed, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court heard on April 29.

The court was told how Mr Blackburn had been charged with using a motor vehicle with equipment likely to cause danger of injury, on the B1434 in Holton Le Moor on August 1, last year.

This charge has now been dismissed by the court as no evidence was offered.

Mr Blackburn had entered a not guilty plea.

Benedict Moore

Benedict Moore, 18, of Normanby Cliff, Market Rasen, has pleaded not guilty to two charges under the Road Traffic Act, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court heard on May 3.

The court was told how Mr Moore is accused of fail to stop after a road accident which allegedly injured a person and damaged another vehicle, at McDonald’s drive through, Outer Circle Retail Park, Lincoln, on October 12, last year.

He is also accused of failing to report an alleged accident in the retail park on October 12, 2015.

The case had been adjourned for trial on July 6.
