After two days of snow, the cold weather will continue to grip the county as freezing temperatures are expected later in the week.

On Wednesday, temperatures are expected to reach as low as -7 degrees celsius, and the temperatures will struggle to get above freezing as the week progresses. Snow is also forecast again for Friday and Saturday, and a week-long amber ice warning was issued by the Met Office. Parts of the country were hit with as much as 10cm (four inches) of snow.
