Civic dinner supports Market Rasen Mayor's charities

The event raised more than £700 for the Mayor’s charities - Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance and the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

“The Town Council is putting a lot of effort in to promoting the Festival Hall as a community venue and it seemed only fitting that we hosted this charity dinner there,” said Coun Matthews.

“We have new banqueting furniture and recently up-rated kitchen equipment to enable the venue to service this type of event.

“The excellent fine dining enjoyed by all our guests was provided by the Advocate Arms Hotel.

“I would like to give my grateful thanks to all who gave their support.”
