Charity funds effort was animal magic

A MENAGERIE of madcap animals greeted visitors to CWG in Market Rasens Gallamore Lane last week as staff dressed up for a charity day - raising money for Kidney Research and LIVES.
Organiser Sheila Johnson said: My daughter Hayley has kidney failure and the Renal Research charity seems to not be as high profile as other charities, so we decided to raise some money and also highlight the need for organ donation.
The store is hosting a grand raffle too, with tickets available until December 6, when the draw will be made at the stores open day.
LIVES volunteer and Olympic torchbearer Steve King was also at the event, giving people the chance to see an Olympic torch close up.
