A charity fundraising event held recently at the Aston Arms in Market Rasen raised £575 for the Alzheimer’s Society.

The event was themed on the famous television quiz show Bullseye, and
included a draw to win a dartboard signed by several British Darts Organisation ladies darts players, including Trina Gulliver (MBE) and Lisa Ashton (current World champion); and a raffle with 75 prizes kindly donated
by businesses in Market Rasen.

The organisers Shaun French, Steve Cottingham and Steve Boryszczuk would like to thank the many
businesses which donated gifts to the event; John Bradley of the Aston for use of the building and for supplying the refreshments; and the many volunteers, including Danielle, Chelsea, Karen, Emma B, Emma O and Shel.

Special thanks also goes to Julie Lambie for sorting the dartboard.

The organisers would also like to add that they hope to do a similar event in the future.
