From Monday August 22 and Friday August 26, there will be guided walks, story-telling, stream dipping for all ages and a community clear-up of a chalk stream in Market Rasen.

The project is also launching a photography competition, open to all ages.

There are two categories –Urban Chalk Streams of Lincolnshire and Rural Chalk Streams of Lincolnshire – with the deadline for entries Sunday, August 14.

The festival, supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund, kicks off with a guided walk from Binbrook on August 22, exploring the Waithe beck and taking in the stunning scenery of the Lincolnshire Wolds, and ends with a festival extravaganza in Louth.
