Uncontrollable excitement filled the backstage area of Market Rasen Racecourse at the weekend as a handful of lucky fans of X Factor got ready to meet their idols.

Among them was Market Rasen Mail competition winner Martina Bettany, 16, and her friend Jess Dame, 16.
