Scholarship available for children
A school scholarship exclusive to a handful of Lincolnshire pupils is now available to youngsters at Caistor Montessori.
The Keller Foundation, set up by Lincs businesswoman Nicky Keller, has already been praised by the likes of Minister of State for Universities David Willetts for helping students from disadvantaged backgrounds receive the best education.
Now the foundation is awarding one fully financed place at Lincolnshire Montessori School to a pupil aged between four and 11.
Mrs Keller said: "Personally, I needed to do something to help.
"I couldn't stand by while there are kids with enormous potential in Lincolnshire, but whose families are struggling to make ends meet as it is without having to consider paying for tuition and books.
"Their only option is to rack up enormous debt, and it's just not right.
"I set up The Keller Foundation to pay tuition fees and material costs for young people in Lincolnshire, just to give someone a chance they might not otherwise have had."
