Police have warned business owners to be on their guard against an alleged cash scam.
According to police, a couple visited a shop in East Barkwith yesterday (Monday) to ask for change for a £50 note.
Although the note was not thought to be counterfeit, the couple disputed the amount of change they received and demanded more money.
Police say the couple appeared to be of Eastern European origin.
The woman was approximately five feet one inch with an olive complexion. She had black hair tied in a bun and wore a coat with a fur trim to the hood.
The male was about five foot ten and wore a jumper with a diamond pattern.
Police are particularly keen for more information on the vehicle used by the couple.
