All blooming in Caistor contests

Caistor in Bloom has been busy running a number of competitions.

“Overall the quality of gardens has yet again exceeded expectations and the standard this year has risen substantially,” said chairman Deborah Barker.

“The number of entries was among the highest in recent years and a huge thank you to all the entrants for the obvious hard work that was put in.”

And the results were:

Best Domestic Garden, sponsored by Waltham Herbs Nursery - Mr & Mrs Marris, 2nd place Mrs L Chapman, 3rd place Mr & Mrs Thompson

Best Container Garden, sponsored by Waltham Herbs Nursery - Mr & Mrs K King, 2nd place Mr & Mrs Rook, 3rd place Mr & Mrs L King

Best Doorway, sponsored by Pottertons Nursery - Mr & Mrs Rust, 2nd place Mr Sizer, 3rd place Mr & Mrs Thompson

Best Commercial Premises - The White Hart, 2nd place Systematic Print Management Ltd, 3rd place The Settlement
