The recent activity day held at Caistor Town Hall was not as well attended as it could have been, according to the organisers, however those who did attend had a fantastic day,
experiencing lots of new activities.

Apart from archery and sumo wrestling, there was the chance to produce a music CD, make a radio programme and take part in theatre workshops.

Refreshments were available all day, created by those involved in the cookery classes, and outside there was even a climbing wall.

“It was another chance for young people to let us know what activities they would like to see happen in Caistor” said Debbie Chambers, Senior Youth Worker.

“We are planning to hold another event in the summer holidays for young people and their families, so please make sure you keep an eye out on the Caistor Diary and Love Caistor websites as well as the
local press.”

A taste of what was on offer can be seen and heard by logging on to http://youngjournalistacademy.com/2014/05/29/all-about-you-caistor-activity-day/

The day was part of the recent ‘All About You’ project, which is encouraging young people to say what activities they would like to see in their town.
