NO income tax, no vat, just lots of cash for charity.

The Only Fools and Horses fun run last month proved to be a great success, with local charities and good causes benefiting to the tune of £800, due to the effort of everyone involved, together with the sponsorship from 360 Scaffolding Ltd.

The run was the first major event organised by Market Rasen Lions since the club chartered in March this year and they celebrated with a presentation and prizegiving evening at Market Rasen Social Club, where organisations and individuals were presented with cheques and prizes by Lion President Brian Richardson.

Amongst those collecting their sponsorship were Phil Smith, St John Ambulance, Anita Goodyear, The Foyer, and Rachael Eckersley, Claudia’s Cause.

Receiving a prize for the most sponsorship raised by an individual was Gillian Moulds and the team sponsorship prize went to the De Aston Equestrian Team.

Market Rasen Lions are here to help all those in need and are also looking for new members, both male and female, to join the Club whose motto is “We Serve”.
