BRIGG Lions have celebrated another fantastic year serving the community in and around the town with their annual charter dinner at The White Heather, Caenby Corner.
Lions president Fiona Reid welcomed guests from other local Lions clubs as well as district governor Robin Duke.
A packed dining room clapped the guests to their tables led by toastmaster John Reid.
Fiona proposed the loyal toast and also the toast to Lions Club International, the response coming from the district governor.
The Lions have celebrated two new events in 2011, the Brigg Summer Fair and the Cider Festival, marking the local apple harvest in September.
They will also be running the Christmas Fair in the town centre on Friday, December 2.
In recognition of the support received Lion Vic Bowness proposed a vote of thanks to partners and guests while Brigg deputy mayor Carl Sherwood responded and thanked the Lions for their distinguished record in running events in Brigg.
