An exhibition capturing all things Lincolnshire will be held in Horncastle later this month to showcase a new photography group’s work.

APPFL - Amateur and Pro Photographers from Lincolnshire - is a growing Facebook group which began 18 months ago and now has more than 700 members.

There is just one criteria for the group, members should be originally from Lincolnshire or currently living in the county.

Now members will be staging their first exhibition at the Admiral Rodney Hotel on Sunday November 22, from 10am to 4pm.

“It is a fascinating group with a diverse range of talents,” said exhibition co-organiser Daniel Thurling.

“The whole exhibition has been arranged with no funding and generous donations to help hold the event.

“We hope it will draw people into the town.”

The exhibition will be opened by award-winning astro-photographer Paul Money, who will also be giving a talk and presentation on his work at 11am.

There will be stalls and displays from group members, as well as unique framed prints for sale and refreshments.

Admission is free.
