Time to apologise?

EDITOR – In reply to Mr A Jones (18/01/12), I wish to express my views on his comments regarding Beverley of Touches letter published 11/01/12.

Beverley has worked very hard to help improve trade in Market Rasen and was pointing out the shortcomings of the town council, which I believe are many and varied.

I was particularly appalled that Mr Jones accused Beverley of ‘whinging’. Does he not respect the opinions of members of the community?

Instead of dismissing her views as a whinge could he not be more constructive? I would be interested to know what effort Mr Jones has put in, if any.

His letter appears to be a personal attack and I think he should make a public apology.
