Thanks for unbiased coverage of protest

EDITOR – I write to offer my support to the plucky young activists who are camped out at the rabbit farm.

Vivisection is a cruel and unnecessary trade based on bad science and human greed and it is right that it should be brought into the public eye for scrutiny.

Peaceful demonstrations keep the issue in the public arena and hopefully will bring the issues to the attention of the politicians, who have the power to change the legislation that allows animal suffering to continue legally.

EDITOR – Just writing to thank you for the decent coverage of the Normanby rabbit farm protest.

As a dedicated animal rights campaigner and vegan, it was a breath of fresh air to read of a peaceful animal rights campaign that wasn't being demonised by the press and portrayed as fanatics.

Thanks for the unbiased coverage.
