Thanks, Caistor

Editor – Re: Caistor Goes Diamond.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, toiled, helped, provided equipment, got drenched, enjoyed or just watched the two-day festival celebrating the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee – 60 years’ reign (rain)

With its wide range of events, despite the weather – with the exception of Horsemarket events moving into the Arts and Heritage Centre – the only changes to the programme were where acts, performers and the flypast pulled out due to the weather, safety or illness.

Like the Windmill Theatre during the war... we never closed.

Grateful thanks to everyone.

If you have photographs of the events please could I have copies and we can compile a record for posterity.

Caistor Goes.... Events committee have decided not to organise the next Diamond Jubilee celebrations!

Thanks.
