Parking needed in the Square

Editor - In response to the article in Wednesday's Mail about parking in the market square in Market Rasen, I don't believe that Mr Lakeman has thought long and hard about his argument.

I have lived in Market Rasen area all my life and it has always been a car park.

I don't believe it would help anyone by not being able to park in the market square.

What about the elderly or disabledand people who are going to the bank with a lot of moneyto withdraw or deposit?

Also there is not just the Advocate; what about the Aston Arms and the Square Bar? I believe stopping parking will affect business to them and the shops in the square and then there will be more people out of work orbusinesses seriously hit by this.

I ask Mr Lakeman, would he be saying this if he had a business in the square or if he had trouble walking distances likemy wife or many other disabled people who rely on the parking area in the square?
