Monetary mismanagement

EDITOR – In response to your article about consultants and the council, it seems that to spend that sort of money on a consultant is surely total mismanagement by the council. If the workload is only one and a half people it should be easy enough for the clerk to carry out an assessment of workload.

A council should be run like any business; it has to make a profit or break even. How many of the council have run successful companies etc?
